ACF hosted the “Interfaith Community’s Role in Healing Together: A Forum on Mutual Acceptance, Mental Health and Youth” in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, supporting ACF’s mission to promote mutual acceptance, peaceful co-existence and Respect the Other and the U.S. Administration’s interagency policy efforts and strategy towards countering Antisemitism, Christianophobia, Islamophobia, and related forms of bias and discrimination. Forum attendees included representatives from the US State Department and White House, interfaith and mental health leaders from around the US.

Unbridled hatred led to the demise of millions in Auschwitz and all over Europe. Interfaith leaders standing side by side together must teach the next generation the horrific lessons of our past to create a better future based on mutual acceptance and peaceful coexistence. Appeal of Conscience EVP Karen Dresbach and Pastor Larry Huch of New Beginnings Church were both at Auschwitz this week, with Pastor Huch leading a delegation to the infamous concentration camp.
