ACF Delegation Meets New UN Secretary General

The new United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon met on January 8, 2007 with ACF President Rabbi Arthur Schneier. Also taking part in the meeting were ACF vice presidents Cardinal Theodore E. McCarrick, Archbishop Emeritus of Washington and Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Primate of the Armenian Church of America. The delegation discussed a wide range of human rights and humanitarian concerns with the Secretary-General, including the need to urgently address the dire situation in Darfur.
